Arkansas Homefurnishings Association Scholarship

PHILOSOPHY

          The Arkansas Furniture Association, Inc. (AFA) has a strong interest in supporting education and has established a scholarship program in an effort to achieve the following objectives:

  • To Help Deserving Students Pursue Higher Education
  • To Assist Our Member Employees With College Expenses
  • To Secure A Better Future For Arkansas Businesses

ANNUAL AWARDS

          Each year, AHA will award three (3) scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each, to be disbursed in the amount of $1,000 for the first term.  Payment will be made directly to the college or university at the beginning of the semester after verification of enrollment is received by the Association office in Little Rock.

          Student must be a first time student enrolled in at least twelve (12) hours for the semester.  Student must be enrolled in an accredited Arkansas college or university.

          AHA will not award scholarships to fund “summer school” courses or graduate classes for any student.

          Scholarship amounts may vary from year to year as determined by the Association.
